DHC-1 Mk.22A "Chipmunk"
This aircraft is a DHC-1 Mk.22A "Chipmunk", VH-MMS. It served with the RAF as WG478 from 1951 until 1994. It was subsequently imported into Australia, incomplete, in 1997. Following an extensive restoration, it flew again in 2003. The colour scheme is the one worn when with No. 2 FTS, RAF Church Fenton, Lincolnshire, circa 1972.
